After attending post-graduate design school, we began making clothes while living briefly in Los Angeles. Loving the way our mother's maiden names sounded together; like an old-time law firm, we formed jackson, johnston and roe.
In 2005 we made the move to New York and started producing our collections here on 39th street. Our emphasis has continued to be on our quality of design, fabrics, construction, and local production.
We use natural, sustainable and recycled fabrics and trim, we paint and draw our own prints, and we carefully follow and monitor each piece of clothing throughout the process of construction. We strive to create beautiful, classic, functional and well made clothes that become a staple in your wardrobe.
